Not only did I pass my 4th year oral exam this week – I also married the man of my dreams. It really is amazing what you can achieve during your Scholarship year.
He is of course the coolest, funniest and most caring guy in the world – AND a diver! I couldn´t be better off. The wedding was a small, but beautiful, ceremony with just me, my husband, his best man and my maid of honour. The sun was shining (the only sunny day in Trondheim all spring!) and the champagne caps popping. But, the real party will have to wait until I get back from my Scholarship year.
Departing from Norway three days after my wedding was of course bittersweet, but I have a lot of good things coming for me these days, so it shouldn´t be difficult staying busy!
Now, off I go to my first stop this summer: Washington, DC – watch out!
Congratulations! I’m one of your husband’s med school classmates (the American one!) – he just directed me to this so I could see the pics, as I’m not on Facebook (*gasp* loool). You look lovely! I wish the both of you all the best in the coming years – let me know when I can come babysit 😉 (I’m really good with kids – I have references, hehe). Anyways, have fun in DC!
