After events in Aarhus, and staying over with Lars and his family for few nights, I traveled back to to Göteborg to do one last thing in Scandinavia – at least for a while! I stayed over again at Delia’s and Johan’s, and Johan has arranged for me to visit Poseidon Diving Systems. Sverker Palmbrad, Poseidon’s Sales and Area Manager, spent a whole day with me, giving me extensive tour of the company, but most interestingly – an in-depth introduction to their new Discovery rebreather. It’s new product, developed from Cis Lunar MK VI unit, in attempt to produce a CCR for the recreational market. It can perform many of the pre-dive checks for yourself, and has a lot of small and smart solutions for big problems! I’d love to learn more of a development process of this product – not this time though, at least. Sverker was patient enough, too, to let me play until I had enough in their indoor testing pool with one Discovery, which was really great experience. I definitely want to learn and have more chances to dive rebreathers in future!
